SATURDAY, FEB 4TH. Join us for an afternoon of mezcal and chocolate! Cacao and Mezcal … two ingredients whose flavor is impacted by the soil, the climate, and the weather. They can vary dramatically, region to region. We’ll explore those similarities and understand why the two are such a match made in heaven. BEAUTY & BALANCE (HÓZHÓ) VALENTINES DAY DINNER
Hózhó ... roughly translated, means beauty, balance, peace and harmony. One of the most important words in the Dinè language. Danielle Goldtooth is a mixologist, farmer, forager, and co-owner of Dii IINÀ- Food from Start to Finish. She is joined in her passionate about Food Sovereignty and connecting the community through self-sustaining practices by her husband, Chef Alan Moore.
Together they created a menu with ingredients sourced from Local or Indigenous Farms and Ranches in a special collaboration to showcase how Community Food Sovereignty can work. NOCHE DE VELITAS
Noche de Velitas marks the beginning of holiday festivities in Colombia. To celebrate, we're working with Angelica Urrego, a native Colombian chef in the neighborhood to create some regional Colombian dishes paired with cocktails made with Santa Teresa rum!

ARTISTRY OF THE MINT JULEP
Join us on April 30th for a workshop on the Artistry of the Mint Julep. Mint is in abundance this time of year and Derby day is right around the corner. As a prelude to Garden Bar’s Derby Day party, we are doing a special workshop in perfecting this quintessential spring-time cocktail.
Kim Haasarud will be demo’ing this cocktail and all that goes into making the Perfect Mint Julep. We will also be joined by Erin Mooney of Buckaroo Flower Co, a local florist, in making the mint Julep beautiful with flowers and herb blossoms. If you love Woodford Reserve and Juleps, you don’t want to miss it!
Participants will be making their own mint juleps with expert guidance and instructions and some special items to make their own mint juleps at home.
Tickets are $50. Max of 25 people.

DERBY DAY PARTY
Join us on Saturday, May 7th for our first annual Derby Day party! There will be Garden Juleps (with or without alcohol), Frozen Woodford Lemonades, a hat contest, stick horse races, music, horse shoes, a food truck and more! Bring a blanket or hang out in any of our rooms and patio.
Tickets are $30, but you do not need a ticket to attend. Ticket holders receive:

A Slow Food Event
An unBEElievable event for honey lovers across the valley. Honey varietal tastings, a Bee to Bottle Presentation, fresh from the hive honeycomb, scotch pairing, cocktails, food and more. Our First Garden Party was held on Saturday, March 6th. It included a gin tasting, frozen gin & tonics, herb planting and souvenir pots sketched by local artist, Cergio Brown.
